2 years?

I cannot simply believe that it has been almost 2 years since I updated this blog on Kyleigh. Well you are in luck and so is Kyleigh when she looks back to read this because boy oh boy does this child give me nothing short of a run for my money! She is 7 going on 17 and thinks she is the boss of the world. Homegirl I AM the BOSS not you! My Mom used to tell me I brought you into this world and I will take you right back out!


You know the saying the apple did not fall far from the tree...That is an understatement. I am convinced the apple is still hanging IN the tree. This child is JUST.LIKE.ME!


She continuously reminds me what life is and how important it is to be the best image of myself. I saw a quote yesterday that "Parenthood is the hardest hood you'll ever go through" - if thats not the truth. Here are some recent pictures of Miss. Kyleigh...

So just to say Kyleigh is 7 (8 this November) she has lost 6 teeth, weighs 49lbs and is 50in tall! She is a direct image of me, and keeps me going everyday. I would be a liar if I told you there were days I wanted to give up, and I would be lying if I told you there were days that I felt like I could not go on. But those are the days I wipe the tears, pick myself up, go to work, do my job, cook dinner, and keep the ball rolling. Those are the days that I need to show Kyleigh how strong a single Momma can be. I would never want my daughter to go through the trials I have gone through, nor would I ever want her to settle for anything less than what she deserves! She is a beautiful child inside and out and my goal and prayer for her is to succeed in EVERYTHING that she does.

I love you Kyleigh bug you test me everyday but I feel like so far I have passed the tests!
