We all know the apple did not fall far from the tree with regards to Kyleigh. With that said she is quite the social butterfly in her kindergarten class. A little girl in her class has been in the same class as Kyleigh all the way through daycare (from 18 months) to now in kindergarten. So for them it is social hour. They come to school .......... and talk! Now for those who know me, know that I am a social butterfly, and I will talk to anyone, and anything to feel comfortable or if I am bored. Same with Kyleigh!
So in school they have a color wall that determines their behavior. Red being the best, and pink the worst. (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink). So Kyleigh 3 days in a row last week has come home on pink. So we have had several conversations about this, and I have tried taking things away, punishing her, etc. But you guessed it...DOESNT WORK! Have I mentioned how much I love my kid? LOL. So I figured out this app for her is called ABC Mouse and this app is a learning app. She is able to interact with this app in order to learn to read, write, etc. It is actually a pretty awesome app and to make things even better Kyleigh LOVES it! So everyday she gets home she wants to play ABC Mouse...But when she comes home on pink or anything below green we do not play ABC Mouse. This is most likely the end of the world in her mind. But I think I am onto something! She is starting to understand if I clip down colors I do not get ABC Mouse, but if I clip up I get ABC Mouse. Who would have thought learning would be fun!?
